WHAT WE BELIEVE!
WHAT WE BELIEVE!
We believe in the Constitution of the United States of America. We believe the US Constitution is derived from the best of our human construct and that humanism is the binding tie that unites us all no matter our origin. We are all human from one Creator!
GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE:
We believe that Government OF the People refers to a government that was formed based on Rights and Freedoms given to the human being directly from God. Religious Freedom, Free Speech, Freedom of Assembly and petitioning the government, Freedom of the Press, these are rights that are written on the very core of our human makeup. They aren't given to us by any man and therefore cannot be taken away by any man.
GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE:
We believe that Government For the People is the physical manifestation of those Freedoms that God has written on the core of us all as human beings. Therefore, the government is not formed to serve any one person, nor is it formed to serve any particular group. Government is the "natural" extension of the will of the people. Those people who serve in all levels of government serve at the pleasure of the people, all the people, to do the will of the people.
GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE:
Those people who send representatives to political positions do so with the understanding that those who are sent will not become pawns or puppets of special interest groups, but will act in accordance with the will of the people who sent them there. Since the government acts in accordance with the will of the people, and was formed from the best of the people, it is incumbent upon those who represent the people possess the best of high moral character, and realize that they are an extension of the will of the people, to serve the people who sent them there.
ON THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES:
The Supreme Court only means the highest court in the land, not that its suppose to take the position of a god or ruler over the people, for the Justices are also from among the people, therefore they are not suppose to violate the freedoms given to the people by God, the Creator of us all. In fact, the courts are supposed to make sure the rights and freedoms given to humanity by God are protected by establishing laws to safeguard those rights if necessary. The Supreme Court isn't supposed to pass laws based on their personal beliefs, nor pass laws that give power to a person or group of persons to rule over the people. The Justices of the Supreme Court, or any court for that matter should conduct themselves both publicly and privately with the best of moral conduct so that they set the correct example for the people. The will of the people is always supreme, therefore, even the laws passed by the Supreme Court should not be obeyed when they violate the Constitution of the United States of America.
